Crisis Services
If you are in crisis, we can help.
West Michigan CMH provides 24/7, 365-day emergency and crisis mental health services to the community. We’ll provide options to get you to immediate safety and help you cope with whatever situation you find yourself in.
Our crisis services include the following:
- Mobile Crisis Services for anyone in our service area regardless of whether you are a current CMH consumer
- Intensive Crisis Stabilization Services (ICSS) serving youth and families age 21 and under
- Coaching (for clients open to the DBT Program)
- Pre-admission mental health screenings (for publically funded or indigent community members) to determine whether inpatient hospitalization is necessary
Community members calling the West Michigan CMH phone number will be able to speak to a live person 24 hours a day.
The goal of our crisis services is to quickly stabilize an individual or family in crisis. We can assist you in ensuring safety and preventing a more serious crisis from occurring. Finally, we’ll be able to make a plan for necessary follow-up services.
